Patient Preparation:
Fasting is not required. Patients should not take Coenzyme Q10 supplements the morning of the test. They may take other nutritional supplements prior to testing.

Collection:
Collect SST/1.0 mL serum, gently invert tube 5 times, allow to clot for 30 minutes, centrifuge, transfer 1.0 mL serum to an amber screw top plastic vial, indicate sample type on tube and send.

Protect from light.
