Founded in 1946, the College of American Pathologists (CAP) aims to maintain accuracy, consistency, and improvement of it’s members through a constant and rigorous, approval process. Through the CAP peer-inspection program, Garcia is able to regularly exchange ideas and practices among other top-level certified laboratories to maintain the highest possible standards and remain on the leading edge of clinical healthcare technology.

Founded in 1997, the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) is the most widely acknowledged women-owned business support program across government and corporate contracts. The WBENC was designed to support women owned, operated, and controlled businesses to thrive across various competitive marketplaces. This certification is the “gold standard” WBE certification accepted amongst various federal, state, and city contracts across the United States. Garcia Laboratory is also certified in additional WBE programs where WBENC certification is not recognized.

Founded in 1988, the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Advancements (CLIA) certification is the baseline standard to approve laboratories to conduct testing on human materials with the goal of assess their health. This certification supports Garcia in the approval of federal regulatory standard of the industry.
