Did You Know?

No more boxes!
We have had some questions about the use of our Garcia Lab specimen boxes. YES, you can still send them to us! We will be sending these on a limited basis, as we have transitioned to using the specimen baggies ONLY. Please see our update specimen packing procedure guide for any questions. We thank you for your continued support on this!

Tissues with issues
Please ensure tissues for pathology, include the SOURCE of the tissue on the order. We cannot process any tissues without a source.

Beware of 9/22/22 (Thin Preps)
Stock check! We have noticed that many of the Thin Prep vials being sent in to our lab are dated for 9/22/22, which is expired. We cannot accept any Thin Preps that are even one day expired. Please check your stock and ensure your supplies are fresh, and if not, please call to order more!

Reminder!

Remember to label your pour-off transport tubes. Please specify what is in the tube, and where it came from (i.e. “plasma from a lavender”) on the transport tube.

Monkey Pox Testing

Yes, we do testing for Monkey Pox (Mpox)! All we need is a Universal Transport Media swab. The test code is MONKP, turn around time is 3-4 days.
