Specimen Requirement
Collect dark blue EDTA or lavender EDTA, centrifuge within 2 hours of collection, discard the plasma and transfer 0.5 mL RBC’s into a trace element blood transport tube, label transport tube “Packed RBC’s” and send.
Avoid worksite collection.
