Specimen Requirement
Begin with a prewarmed tube kept at 98°F, collect light blue top, lavender EDTA or sodium fluoride, centrifuge immediately and transfer 3.0 mL plasma to a screw top plastic vial, indicate sample type and “Prewarmed” on tube and send room temperature.

Visual observation of refrigerated samples
Stability
Maintain specimen at room temperature.
Reference Range
The reference range is determined by the performing laboratory and will show on the report.
