Collect SST/0.5 mL serum, after 30 minutes of clotting, promptly centrifuge and send refrigerated.
Alternate sample: Red top
Collect sample within 2-4 hours after intravenous loading dose and at a steady state. For trough level collect just before the next scheduled dose.
