Preferred specimen is a full PPT, or 2mL plasma poured off from PPT.
Alternate specimen: Lavender or SST
**PLEASE DO NOT ORDER HCV GENOTYPE WITH THIS TEST IF YOU ALREADY KNOW THE GENOTYPE OF THE PATIENT. IT WILL DELAY TESTING.**
